What I’m Working On
This isn't a quilting or sewing project, but it impacts quilting and sewing. I am sorting through all of my scrap fabric. If you sew in any capacity you know what I am talking about. Some people just throw them away, some people give them away, and some people save them to try to use every little scrap of fabric that you can. As you can see, I am a saver.
Not that I have created many scrappy quilts, but I want to. What happens is I haven't had a system so I get overwhelmed trying to find scraps that go together to make a good scrappy quilt. Now that I have started a system I am going to start using up these scrappy pieces in a series Scrap Happy. Look for a post about a heart mug rug using my scraps before the end of the month.
What I’ve Finished
I FINISHED my granddaughter’s puff quilt. But, as soon as she sent me the picture of her with it I saw a HUGE mistake! I don’t know how I let that get by me. She doesn’t care, but I just wish I had noticed that before I finished it.
